This article explains how you can print a PDF from Safari on iOS devices and Canon PRINT.

Solution

If you are using Safari on an iOS device and you open a PDF, it will open within Safari. You can use Canon PRINT to print the PDF. Follow the steps below to print it.

  1. When you have the PDF file open in Safari, tap the Share  icon.

    Tap the Share icon (outlined in red)

    Tap PRINT.

     If PRINT is not shown as one of the available apps, tap More. Then, select PRINT from the Suggestions list.

    PRINT will appear as an available app when printing PDF files in the future.

  2. You will be prompted to confirm if you want to use the currently selected printer in Canon PRINT. Tap Yes to proceed.

     If you have more than one printer set up in Canon PRINT, tap No and select the printer you wish to use. The app will switch to that printer, then it will proceed to the next step.

  3. The PDF will open in Canon PRINT. Tap Next to proceed.

    You will be able to save the PDF file to your iOS device, email it with the Mail app or open it in other apps. Tap any of these options if desired. Otherwise, tap Cancel. Then, tap Next.

  4. You will be at the Print screen. Tap Change settings to change the various settings used for printing (number of copies, print range, etc.). Tap Print to begin printing.
