You can also follow the steps below to set up your PIXMA TS5120 on a Wi-Fi network so you can easily manage it from a Mac computer.
There are two parts to the setup process:
Start the setup process on your printer.
Download and run the setup file on your computer.
1. Start the setup process on your printer
Make sure the printer is turned ON. If the power is on, the power lamp (A) will be lit. If the printer is busy with a print head alignment, cleaning, or other process, wait for it to finish.
Press the home button (B) on the printer. If an error screen displays, press the OK button, then HOME to clear the error.
Use the up / down or right / leftarrow buttons (C) to select the network status button (D).
Press the OK button.
Select LAN settings, and press OK.
Select Wireless LAN, and press OK.
Select Wireless LAN setup, and press OK.
Select Easy wireless connect, and press OK.
Select Yes, and press OK.
When the screen below appears, return to the setup screen and proceed with the setup.
2. Download and run the setup file on your computer
Read the information, taking note of the messages that may appear during setup, then select Download.
If you see a message like this:
Select OK. Then, control-click on the setup file, select Open, then select Open in the error message window. This will allow the setup program to proceed.
Select Next on the first screen.
Enter your computer User Name and Password, then select Install Helper.
Select Start Setup.
Select the appropriate region, then Next.
Select Yes on the License Agreement.
Select Agree or Do not agree to the Survey.
A status check occurs. Wait for it to finish.
Select Yes on the Connection Method screen.
Setup continues. If the screen below appears, select your wireless router to connect to the printer, enter the Network Key (password) and select Next. Your router and network settings determine whether or not this screen appears.
When you see the Connection completed screen, select Next.
Drivers install. Wait to this to finish.
If the following screen appears, select Allow.
Select Add Printer on the Add Printer screen.
On the Add screen, select the TS series with Bonjour Multifunction listed in the Kind column. Select AirPrint or Secure AirPrint in the Use: drop-down.
Select Next on the Add Printer screen.
Select Execute to run a test print, or Next to continue.
The setup is complete. select Next. You are almost finished.
Select any optional software you want to add (click the checkbox to select, click again to clear), then select Next.
On the You Can Print... screen, select Next.
Select Next or Skip on the User Registration screen.
Installation is complete. Select Exit. You are ready to print wirelessly.
