TitleWhere are the Mac Drivers for my Printer / Scanner? (CanoScan / PIXMA / MAXIFY)
URL NameART170876
Description

This article applies to various CanoScan scanners, as well as several MAXIFY and PIXMA models.

Solution

The products below use AirPrint technology for printing and scanning. This means that you do not have to download a CUPS printer driver (or a TWAIN or ICA driver for scanning). Connect the printer to your Mac via USB or on a network (for models that support network connections) and you can add your printer to the printer list on your Mac. You will also be able to scan (for models that support scanning) via Image Capture or IJ Scan Utility Lite, which is included in the full software packages available for download.

Click on the model name of your product to obtain its full software package.

Some models use Canon Inkjet Smart Connect to set up your computer to work with your printer (for example, the GX1020 and GX2020). Follow any on-screen instructions when running this software to set up your computer to work with the printer.
