Before you begin
A Wireless Network Settings printout will provide information about your printer's wireless connection. This page will tell you many things, including if your printer is connected to your network, the printer's IP Address, signal stregth, and network name.
So long as your printer has power, ink, and paper, you should be able to print this page even if you are unable to print from your computer or mobile device, as this page is printed using the printer panel itself.
The information on the sheet will provide insight as to your connection status, and can be a great tool when troubleshooting connectivity issues.
Follow the steps below to print out your wireless network settings information.
If a new page does not appear after your model is selected from the drop-down menus, you may need to temporarily disable your pop-up blocker.

The printout contains valuable information about your computer. Handle it with care to protect your privacy.

Product documentation may refer to any model in a series. For example, a PIXMA TS5120 and PIXMA TS5122 are both part of the TS5100 series. If your printer is not sold in the U.S., your model may not be listed below.
Print out the network setting information for your printer

Locate your printer series from the list below, then select Model from the drop-down below the appropriate series.

A new page will open. Follow the the instructions to create a printout.

Read a Wireless Network Settings page
Once the sheet has been printed, it may benefit you to check these items:
Connection: If your printer is connected to your wireless network, this will say "Active".
Network Name or SSID: Here you should see the name of your network. It is important that the printer and the device you are printing from are connected to the same network.
IP Address: This will tell you your printer's IP Address. If your printer is not connected, this may not be listed. In most instances, a normal IP Address will be listed as 192.168.1.XXX or 10.0.1.XXX.
Signal Strength: Here you will see the strength of the printer's network connection. A signal strength lower than 80% may result in slower performance or errors when printing or scanning. If it is too low, consider moving your printer closer to your wireless router.
