To be able to use the PIXMA TS series printer to print or scan wirelessly on a Mac® computer, the printer must first be connected to the wireless network and software, drivers and applications installed on the computer. The instructions / screenshots below show the setup program steps when using the Easy Wireless Connect method to connect to the wireless network.
Instructions in this article are for setup on a Mac computer. If setting up on Windows, click here for instructions
The setup process consists of two parts:
1. Start Easy Wireless Connect on the printer, and
2. Download and run the setup file to install the drivers and software.
Start Easy Wireless Connect on the printer.
Prior to starting setup on the Computer, Smartphone or tablet device, start the Easy wireless connect on the printer. Then complete the setup on the computer or device.
See the procedure below to start the Easy Wireless connect.
If you have already initiated Easy wireless connect on your printer, please skip this step and proceed to the Download and run the setup file instructions below.

Press and hold the Direct button (A) on the printer, and then release the button when
(B) flashes.

Make sure the network icon
and the horizontal bars (C) flash as shown in the illustration below.
Download and run the setup file.
Get the Setup File
Click
in the Dock, follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with setup.
Double-click the downloaded .dmg file if setup icon did not appear

Click Next

Enter the network password and click Install Helper

Click Start Setup

Click Next
-
Click Yes on the License Agreement

Select Do not agree or Agree
If Do not agree was selected, the following information appears. Click OK

Click Next on the Connection Method screen

Select Allow on the keychain message

Depending on your network setup, the following screens may appear. Be sure to select an SSID (network) in the dropdown list running on the 2.4Ghz frequency. If not sure, check with your router's documentation. After selecting the SSID, enter the password in the next screen

Click Next on Connection completed
If your printer is not detected, make sure that the computer has reconnected to the correct network. Also, you may need to temporarily disable any firewall software, or you may need to open blocked ports in the firewall. If your Mac is connected to a VPN (Virtual Private Network), temporarily disconnect from the VPN and try the setup again. Click Add Printer

Select your printer series with Bonjour Multifunction listed in the Kind column and click Add

Click Next

Click Next

If you wish to download and install any additional software, click Continue online
