Most Windows PCs run on Intel or AMD (x86 / x64) processors. There are also Windows PCs that run on ARM processors.
The Windows drivers available for your Canon product are designed to run on Intel and AMD processors. If you have a Windows PC with an ARM processor, you will not be able to install the drivers on our website.
To find out what processor you have in your computer, hold the Windows
key and press the letter X. Select System from the menu that appears.
You will see your device specifications. This will show you the type of processor you have. The example below shows a PC that uses an x86 / x64 CPU:

The following models are compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11 on ARM-based computers:

If you want to use your product via USB with a Windows 10 or 11 device running on an ARM-based processor, simply plug your device into an available USB port. A driver will be installed automatically.
If you want to use a printer across a network:
-
Open the Control Panel by holding the Windows key
and pressing the letter R. In the Run window, type "control panel" (without quotation marks) and click OK.
-
Click Devices and Printers.
For Windows 11 PCs, after clicking Devices and Printers, click View more devices, then click More devices and printer settings.
-
Click Add a Printer.
-
In the new window that appears, click on your printer and then click Next.
-
A driver will be installed. When this process has finished, click Finish.
If you are using a network-connected printer, and the steps above don't work, try this:
-
Open the Control Panel by holding the Windows key
and pressing the letter R. In the Run window, type "control panel" (without quotation marks) and click OK.
-
Click Devices and Printers.
For Windows 11 PCs, after clicking Devices and Printers, click View more devices, then click More devices and printer settings.
-
Click Add a Printer.
-
In the Add a device window, click The printer that I want isn't listed.
-
Select Add a printer using an IP address or hostname, then click Next.

-
Make sure IPP Device is selected in the drop-down menu, then enter the printer's IP address in the box below. You may need to print a network configuration page to obtain the printer's IP address.
Click Next.

-
Follow any remaining on-screen instructions.
