Ring Count

Change the ring count on the fax when the receive mode is set to Fax/Tel or FaxOnly modes. Change the ring count on your answering machine when it is connected to the fax and the receive mode is set [Ans mc connect] (Answering Machine Mode).

1. Press the <FAX> button to enter the Fax menu.
   
   
2. Press the <Menu> button.
   
   
3. Press the left or right arrow button to select [Maintenance/settings], then press <OK>.
   
   
4. Press the left or right arrow to select [Device settings], then press <OK>.
   
   
5. Press the up or down arrow to select [FAX settings] (item <1>), then press <OK>.
   
   
   
   
6. Press the up or down arrow to select [RX settings] (item <3>), then press <OK>.
   
   
   
   
7. Press the up or down arrow to select [Incoming ring], then press <OK>.
   
   
8. Press the up or down arrow to select [ON], then press <OK>.
   
   Note: The default setting is [OFF].
   
9. 1. A window will appear displaying the number of rings before the machine will answer. Press the up or down arrow to select the number of rings (from 1 to 30 rings).
      
   2. Press <OK> to set the number of rings.
      
      
10. Press the <Stop/Reset> repeatedly to return to Fax standby mode.
