If you are using a Mac, you will need to download and install the drivers and software for your MAXIFY printer. To do this, follow the steps below.
- Click here.
- Make sure that Drivers & Downloads is selected. If it is not, click it. Then, type in the model number of your MAXIFY printer in the box below. Wait for a few moments and then your model will appear under the box. Click on your model.
- On the next page, you will see the available files to download for your model. While your version of the Macintosh operating system should be detected automatically, you may need to manually select it if it is not detected.
- On the Drivers tab, select the CUPS Printer Driver and the ICA Driver (for MFP models). Download those files. Open them when they have finished downloading and run their install programs. Follow any on-screen instructions to complete the installations.
- Any additional software for these printers can be obtained by clicking on the Software tab If you are using your MAXIFY printer on a network, download and install the IJ Network Tool and the Quick Utility Toolbox. For MFP models, download and install the IJ Scan Utility. Any additional software is optional.
- To download a manual for your MAXIFY printer, click on the Manuals tab next to Drivers & Downloads. Then, click Guides & Manuals. Download and install the User Manual for your printer.
