If printed vertical lines are warped or colors are out of alignment, adjust the Printhead alignment.

Solution

If printed vertical lines are warped or colors are out of alignment, adjust the Printhead alignment. Follow the steps below for standard automatic adjustment of the Printhead.


If you are using cut sheet paper, load unused paper Ledger-sized or larger. One sheet of paper is required for Standard Adj., and three sheets for Advanced Adj. is selected.

  1. Press the Menu button to display MAIN MENU.


  2. Press to select Adjust Printer, and then press the button.


  3. Press to select Auto Head Adj., and then press the button.


  4. Press to select Standard Adj., and then press the button.


  5. Press to select Yes, and then press the OK button.
    The setting is updated, and an equals sign "=" is displayed at left.



    The following screen is displayed when paper is fed automatically and no roll is loaded. In this case, select the paper source, and then press the OK button.
