P Program AE Mode - PowerShot A610 & A620 & A700
Use the program AE mode to have the camera automatically set the shutter speed and aperture value to match the brightness of the scene. P mode is very similar to mode, but there are some differences.
Setting the camera to shoot in Program AE mode:
1. Turn on the camera, and set the mode switch to .
2. Turn the shooting mode dial to "P".
3. Shoot the image.
- When a correct exposure cannot be obtained, the shutter speed and aperture values are shown in red on the LCD monitor when the shutter button is pressed halfway. Use the following shooting methods to obtain the correct exposure and make them show in white.
