PowerShot A610 & A620 & A700

The LCD monitor can be used to compose images while shooting, adjust settings menus and play back images. Pressing the <DISPLAY> button cycles the LCD monitor to the next mode each time the button is pressed.

The AF frame changes according to its On/Off setting (LCD monitor On).

AiAF set to [On]

AiAF set to [Off]

  • Green: Focusing complete (focused AF frame)
  • Green: Focusing complete
  • Does not appear: Focusing difficulty
  • Yellow: Focusing difficulty


* Appears even if the LCD monitor is set to Standard display.

  • If the indicator blinks orange and the camera shake warning icon displays, this indicates that a slow shutter speed may have been selected due to insufficient illumination. Raise the ISO speed or select a setting other than (flash off), or attach the camera to a tripod or other device.
