SCN Special Scene Mode
By simply selecting one of the following 8 modes, you can shoot the image with the most appropriate settings for the scene.
- Turn the mode dial to SCN (Special Scene mode). The current Scene mode screen is displayed.
- Select the scene you wish to shoot using or and shoot the image.
- The name of the Scene mode is displayed for six seconds each time you change the mode.
- Shooting procedures are the same as for the mode excluding .
- For the shooting procedures of , see the Waterproof Case User Guide included with the Waterproof Case WP-DC2 (sold separately).
- In mode, the shutter speed slows down. Use a tripod to avoid camera shake.
- In , , , and modes, the ISO speed may increase and cause noise in the image.

- When shooting images underwater, always turn the power off before inserting the camera into the waterproof case (sold separately).
- In mode, using the LCD monitor is recommended.
- Results may vary depending on the subject.
- In and modes, using the Waterproof Case WP-DC2 (sold separately) is recommended.
