Remover Tool

This utility was created by Nuance to remove the OmniPage application registry entries and program file set. Run it only if the regular Uninstall process is not usable or did not fully remove the program.

1. Insert the CD-ROM that shipped with your Canon Scanner or Multifunction product into your computer's CD-ROM drive.
   
   
2. If the Setup splash screen appears, click 'Exit'.
   
   
   
   
3. In Windows Explorer, locate the Remove Tool file.
   
   1. Click 'Start' and then 'My Computer'.
      
   2. On Windows XP, click the 'Folder's icon along the top of the window.
      
      
      
   3. On the left-hand pane, click '+' (plus sign) beside the CD-ROM drive.
      
   4. Continue to click '+' until you reach the following path: X:\win\OMNIPAGE\EN\Original\OmniPage\Tools
      Where 'X' represents the CD-ROM drive.
      
      Note: The path to \OmniPage\Tools\ may be different dependent on your product.
      
      
4. In the Tools folder, double-click 'Remover.exe' on the right-hand pane.
   
   
   
   
5. Click on the appropriate button to proceed through the un-installation.
   
   
6. Now attempt to re-install OmniPage SE.
