Follow these steps to check for possible obstructions in the ADF.

Solution

Check for possible obstructions in the ADF

  1. Open the ADF cover.


  2. Look for any obstructions. Make sure the black plastic flag sensor is in the up position.

  3. Close the ADF cover.


  4. Open the ADF and check for possible obstructions in the ADF area.


  5. Close the ADF.



    Be careful not to get your fingers caught.

  6. If necessary, reset the unit by cycling the power.
    Turn the power switch off and then back on again.
