Press the Feeder Selection button to activate the Auto Feed lamp .
Remove the Holder Stopper from the Roll Holder .
With the Roll Holder sideways and the edge of the roll paper facing forward as shown, insert the roll in the Roll Holder from the left. Insert the roll firmly until it touches the flange of the Roll Holder.
Insert the Holder Stopper from the left in the Roll Holder as shown, pushing it firmly in until the flange (a) of the Holder Stopper touches the roll.
Push in the Output Tray Extension .
Insert your fingers under the Vertical Paper Guides on the Output Tray at the positions shown (a) and lift the guides.
Open the Roll Paper Unit Cover with hands, as shown.
With the edge of the roll paper facing up toward you, insert the Roll Holder shaft into the guide grooves (a) of the Roll Holder Slot on sides. Make sure that the colors of the Roll Holder shaft ends (b) and the guide grooves match.
Insert the edge of the roll paper into the Paper Feed Slot (a) and feed it manually until you hear the paper feed tone. The printer now starts advancing the paper.
Specify the type and length of the paper. *The type and amount of paper left is automatically detected based on the barcode printed on the roll with Automatic Detection of the Remaining Roll Paper.
Open the Roll Paper Unit Cover with hands, as shown.
