Locate the Serial Number

The serial number of the PIXMA MP470 is located inside the printer, as shown below.

  1. With the printer powered on, lift the scanning unit and pull the scanning unit support down into place.



    *MP210 shown in example

  2. The serial number is attached to the back wall inside the printer.
    It starts with four letters and ends with five numbers. Example: ABCD12345



    Note: The white ribbon cable may obstruct the view if the print head carriage does not move to center position. Carefully lower the cable to see the white sticker adhered to the back wall.
