Solution

Set Paper In The rear tray

Instructions to load paper in the rear tray .

Prepare the printer:

  1. Open the paper support and extend the paper support extension. (See <1> in Figure 1 below.)

  2. Open the paper output tray and extension. (See <2> and <3> in Figure 1 below.)

  3. Set the paper thickness lever to the right side for envelopes and T-Shirt transfers. (See <4> in Figure 1 below.)

  4. Load envelopes in the rear tray with the print side facing up. (See <1> in Figure 3 below.)

    1. Check the printing direction.

    2. Set the envelope in the direction of the arrow as indicated in Figure 2 below.

  5. Align envelopes to the right edge of the . (See <2> in Figure 3 below.)

  6. Pinch and slide the paper guide to the envelope's left side. (See <3> in Figure 3 below.)

Preparing Envelopes to Load:

  1. Press down firmly on the edges of the envelopes to make the folds crisp. Also, press firmly on the area that corresponds to the edges of the back flap.

  2. Remove any curling by holding the edges diagonally and bending them gently.



  3. If the edges of the envelope are inflated or are curling, place the envelope on a flat surface. With a pen, press down while moving it from the center toward the edges of the envelope.

  4. Ensure that no curl or puff exceeds 1/8 in. (3 mm).

Set paper with the flap closed.

Unsuitable Envelopes:

  • Envelopes with an embossed or treated surface

  • Envelopes with a double flap or pressure seals

Printer Driver Settings:

  • Media Type : Envelope

  • Page Size: Select either DL Env. or #10 Env. according to the envelope size you are using

    Orientation: Landscape

Note: It may be required to change the paper size option to 'Envelope' in File Page Setup menu.
