If you encounter the support codes 2110, 2113, or 2114 when attempting to print, this is because the paper loaded into the printer is different from what is registered (specified) on the machine. This function can be toggled from your Windows computer by following the steps below.
-
Open the IJ Printer Assistant Tool.
If you don't have the IJ Printer Assistant Tool installed, it can be downloaded from the support page for your printer on the Canon web site.
-
Click Custom Settings.
-
Place a check in the box for Do not detect mismatched paper settings when printing from a computer. This will prevent the support code 2113 from appearing.
If this option is checked, then the printer will detect if there is a mismatch between the loaded paper and what is specified on the printer's operation panel. This will cause the support code 2110, 2113, or 2114 to appear.
Click OK.
-
Click OK when asked if you want to apply the settings to the printer.
If this function is disabled, this may affect the paper sizes used if you print via AirPrint from an iOS device.
