Printing on a custom paper size
Set the paper size for the multi-purpose tray on the machine
If you use same kind of paper for the multi-purpose tray, you can specify the paper size and type.
- Press <Additional Functions>.
- Confirm that [COMMON SETTINGS] is displayed, then press <OK>.
- Press < > or <> to select [MP TRAY STD SET], then press <OK>.
- Press <> or <> to select [ON], then press <OK>.
- Confirm that [PAPER SIZE] is displayed, then press <OK>.
- Press <> or <> to select [FREESIZE], then press <OK>.
For non-standard paper size. If you select this size, enter the vertical size in [VERTICAL SIZE], then press <OK>. Enter the horizontal size in [HORIZONTAL SIZE], then press <OK>.
-If you select [FREESIZE] the Horizontal and Vertical sizes are listed in millimeters.
1 inch = 25.4 millimeters
- Confirm that [SELECT PAPER TYPE] is displayed, then press <OK>.
- Press <> or <> to select the paper type, then press <OK>.
[PLAIN PAPER], [COLOR], [RECYCLED], [HEAVY PAPER 1], [HEAVY PAPER 2], [HEAVY PAPER 3], [BOND], [3HOLE PUNCH PAPER], [TRANSPARENCY], [LABELS], [ENVELOPE]
- Press <Stop> to return to standby mode.
- On the computer, open the document you want to print. Then click [File] and [Print].
- Click on [Properties] or [Preferences].
- In [Page Setup] sheet click [Customer Paper Size].
- Give the paper size a name, and set the Width and Height, then click register.
Note:
The X Dimension entered on device is the width in the driver. The Y Dimension entered on the device is the length in the driver.
- Select the new custom size in the [Page Size] drop down.
- Click [OK], then [Print].
