Setting up Windows Scanner & Camera Wizard to Automatically Start a Specific Program
Windows XP:
1. Click [Start]
2. Click [Control Panel]
3. If the Control Panel asks to 'Select a Category', click 'Printers and Other Hardware.'

4. Double-click 'Scanners & Cameras'

5. Right-click on the camera icon, and select 'Properties'.

6. The camera's Properties window should appear. Click on the 'Events' tab.

7. Set the event to 'Camera connected' and choose the program to start (ie. Canon Camera Window or Canon ZoomBrowser EX).
8. Click [OK], and close all windows.
The next time the camera is connected, the program that was selected should launch automatically.
