Uninstall / Reinstall MP Navigator EX

If you do not need the MP Navigator EX any longer, or if they are not installed correctly, uninstall them.
When uninstalling the software, you must log on as Administrator or have Administrator privileges. To uninstall software in Mac OS X, you must log on as an administrator.

The following information is provided as a general outline. For detailed instructions, please see your documentation.

Windows

1. Close any open software applications, including the MP Navigator EX and virus checkers.
   To close the MP Navigator EX, click on the [x] at the top right of the screen or [Close] at the bottom right. When the confirmation message displays, click 'OK'.
    
2. Click 'Start' on the taskbar, point to (All) Programs, 'Canon Utilities', and MP Navigator EX folder, then click 'MP Navigator EX Uninstall'.
    
3. At the confirmation dialog box, click 'OK' to remove the components.
    
4. Click 'Finish'.
    
5. After the software has been removed, reinstall MP Navigator EX. If you have the Setup CD-ROM, select Custom Install to install only MP Navigator EX. Or, download the software from our Support & Drivers page for the latest version, if applicable. Select the appropriate links for your product.

Macintosh

1. Close any open software applications, including the MP Navigator EX and virus checkers.
   To close the MP Navigator EX, click on the [x] at the top left of the screen or 'Close' at the bottom right.
    
2. Double-click the hard disk icon where MP Navigator EX was installed, double-click the 'Applications' folder, and put the MP Navigator EX icon into Trash.
    
3. Restart your computer.
    
4. After the software has been removed, reinstall MP Navigator EX. If you have the Setup CD-ROM, select Custom Install to install only MP Navigator EX. Or, download the software from our Support & Drivers page for the latest version, if applicable. Select the appropriate links for your product.
