Locate the Serial Number
The serial number of the PIXMA MP990 is located inside the printer, as shown below.
- With the printer powered on, open the Paper Output tray.
- Lift the Scanning Unit (Printer Cover) .
- Open the Inner Cover.
The serial number is on the metal plate to the right of the print head holder.
It starts with four letters and ends with five numbers. Example: ABCD01234
