Follow these steps to enable Toner Saver Mode from the print dialog box on Mac OSX:

1. Click "File" and then "Print" from the application that you wish to print from.

2. Select the dropdown with the application name in it and change it to "Basic".
 

3. Select the dropdown for "Toner Save" and change it from "Off" to "On".
