Description

This article explains how to print a Network Configuration Page for the PIXMA MG4120.  An example of this page is attached to this article.

Solution

Note: The steps listed below are specific to the MG4120.  For instructions for other models, click here

You can print out the network settings of the machine such as its IP address and SSID.

  • This print out contains valuable information about your computer. Handle it with care.

    1. Make sure that the machine is turned on.

      Confirming that the Power Is On

    2. Load a sheet of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper.

      Loading paper

    3. Select Setup on the HOME screen.

      LCD and Operation Panel

    4. Select Device settings, then use the OK button to confirm the selection.

    5. Use the UPDOWN button to select LAN settings, then use the OK button to confirm the selection.

    6. Use the UPDOWN button to select Confirm LAN settings, then use the OK button to confirm the selection.

    7. Use the UPDOWN button to select Print LAN details, then use the OK button to confirm the selection.

    8. Use the UPDOWN button to select Yes, then use the OK button to start printing.

      The machine starts printing the network setting information.

      The following information on the machine's network setting is printed out.
