Solution

Deleting Images from MP Navigator / MP Navigator EX

To delete an image on a Windows computer, click here.

To delete an image on a Macintosh computer, click here.

Windows:

  1. Launch MP Navigator EX.
    1. Double-click Canon MP Navigator EX icon on the desktop.
    2. Alternatively, from the Start menu, select (All) Programs > Canon Utilities > MP Navigator EX folder > MP Navigator EX icon.

  2. Point to View & Use in the Navigation Mode screen and click My Box (Scanned/Imported Images).

    Note:
    The above instructions and below illustration may vary by product.



  3. Select the image from the appropriate folder.

  4. Right-click on the file and select 'Delete' from the pop-up menu.

  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to delete additional images.

    Note: If Delete is not an available option in your MP Navigator EX version, go to the folder path as shown on the bottom left corner of the window to delete the file in Windows Explorer.

Macintosh:

  1. From the Go menu of Finder, select Applications, then double-click the Canon Utilities folder, then MP Navigator EX icon.

  2. Select View & Use in the Navigation Mode screen to display the View & Use Images on your Computer tab.



  3. Click My Box (Scanned/Imported Images).

  4. Select the image from the appropriate folder.


  5. Press and hold down the Control button on the keyboard and then click the image with the mouse button.

  6. Release the Control button and click Delete in the pop-up menu.

  7. Repeat steps 4 through 6 to delete any other images.

  8. After the selected images have been removed from MP Navigator EX, empty Trash.
