Reducing or enlarging a copy

You can reduce or enlarge the copy size within a range of 25% to 400% by using preset percentages for reducing or enlarging, or set the percentage ratios manually.

Using preset copy ratios

  1. Load the document on the platen glass or ADF (F50only).

  2. Press <Copy>.

  3. Press <Enlarge/Reduce>.

  4. Press [<] or [>] to scroll through copy ratios, and select from one of the following:

    • [25%] Minimum
    • [78%] Legal to letter size
    • [95% ] A4 to Letter size
    • [100%] same size
    • [212%] 4" x 6" to letter size
    • [400%] Maximum

  5. Press <Set>.

  6. Press <Start> to begin copying. The LCD panel will display number of copies remaining.

To set copy ratios manually:

  1. Load the document on the platen glass or ADF (F50only).

  2. Press <Enlarge/Reduce> twice.

  3. Use the numeric keys to enter a percentage, or press [<] or [>] to enter a percentage in 1% increments from 25% (minimum) to 400% (maximum).

  4. Press <Set>.

  5. Press <Start> to begin copying. The LCD panel will display number of copies remaining.
