Solution
Precautions
Before cleaning, send or print any pending faxes or print outs.
Turn off and unplug the machine before cleaning.
Use only a soft dry cloth to clean. Paper towels, tissue paper, and other materials may scratch the machine.
Note: Do not use volatile liquids such as thinners, benzene, acetone, or any other chemical cleaner: they may cause a malfunction or damage the surface of the machine.
Cleaning
With a soft, clean, lint-free and dry cloth, wipe these areas:
The platen glass - A
The inner side of the document cover (white sheet) - B
The glass of the Auto Document Feeder (ADF ) - C
The white inner side of the ADF - D - gently.
Make sure not to leave any residue, especially on the glass surface.
