Verify the SSID (Network Name)
Check the printer Setting
Make sure that the machine is turned on.
1. Press the Setup button.
2. Use the ![LEFT](/library/attachments/ServiceWareImages/LDImages/SolutionAnswer/MX340/l_mark_s.gif)
button to select Device settings, then press the OK button.
3. Use the ![LEFT](/library/attachments/ServiceWareImages/LDImages/SolutionAnswer/MX340/l_mark_s.gif)
button to select LAN settings then press the OK button.
4. Use the ![LEFT](/library/attachments/ServiceWareImages/LDImages/SolutionAnswer/MX340/l_mark_s.gif)
button to select Print LAN details then press the OK button.
5. Confirm the SSID.
Check the SSID on the computer
- Click the appropriate Network icon in the system tray

- Note the SSID name (Network name).
Windows XP:

- Compare this with the SSID from the the Wireless LAN setting list of the printer. If it is different , connect to the same SSID as that of the printer.
