How do I start and download images with ImageBrowser using the USB interface on Macintosh OS 9?

  1. Attach the camera to the computer with the USB cable.
  2. Set the camera to the mode for communicating with a computer. ImageBrowser will start automatically and display the Automation Wizard dialog.
  3. Confirm that Display Images is selected and click the OK button. The Communication Settings dialog will display if this is the first time you have used Image Browser with your camera.
  4. Confirm that USB Port and your camera model are selected then click the Set button. The images from the camera will display as small thumbnail images in the ImageBrowser Camera Window.
  5. Select Macintosh HD in the Explorer View Section
  6. Create a new folder in which to save the images from the camera. Open the File menu and select New Folder. A folder with the name "Untitled" will be created. Click the folder and change the name as you wish.
  7. Select the new folder in the Explorer View Section.
  8. Select the image (press Shift and click to select multiple images) you wish to download from the Camera Window and click Download. The downloaded image(s) will be saved to the computer disk and will appear in the Browser Window.
  9. To disconnect the camera, click the close box at the upper left of the Camera Window. The Camera Window will close.
