How to Toggle the Detect Paper Setting Mismatch Option - MB2320 / MB5020 / MB5320

Solution

Your MAXIFY printer can determine if the paper you have loaded into the cassette does not match the paper size and / or type specified.  If this option is enabled, the printer will display an error if the paper size and / or type does not match what has been specified on the printer.  To enable or disable this option, follow the steps below.
  1. From the Home screen on the printer, tap Setup.

  2. Tap Device settings.

  3. Tap Cassette settings.

  4. Tap Detect paper setting mismatch.

  5. To enable this function, tap Yes.  To disable it, tap No.

     Note

If you select Yes, the machine detects whether the paper size and the media type are identical with those registered in Register cassette paper info. If printing starts with the settings that do not match, an error message is displayed on the touch screen.

When No is selected, Register cassette paper info or Detect cassette reinsertion is disabled.
