If the scanning operation slows down or stops temporarily and the message "Adjusting the scanner ..." is displayed on the LCD or computer try one or more of the following:
- Keep scanning as is. The scanning operation will complete, however, there may be some additional pausing during scanning.
- Stop the scanning operation, then wait 10 minutes or longer and try again.
- Decrease the scanning resolution. See Scan settings for information.
- Change the scanning mode from Color to Black & White (Press the Black button to start scanning).
