Fix Streaks, Bands or Smudges on Copies - MAXIFY MB Series

Description

If your prints have streaks, bands or smudges, you can enable Prevent Paper Abrasion, which may fix the problem.

Solution

Follow the steps below to enable Prevent Paper Abrasion:

Note If you have the MAXIFY MB2020 printer, use the arrows and the OK button to select options (such as Setup, Device settings, etc.).

  1. From the HOME screen, tap Setup.

  2. Tap Device settings.

  3. Tap Print settings.

  4. Tap Prevent paper abrasion.

  5. Prevent paper abrasion is OFF by default. Tap ON.

  6. Prevent paper abrasion will be enabled.

    Prevent paper abrasion ON

  7. Press the HOME button to return to the HOME screen.
