Switch to Shooting mode - PowerShot Sxx series

If the camera is already turned on, and it's set to Playback (replay) mode:

Press the Playback () button on the back of the camera.

If the camera is not turned on:

Slide the lens cover to open it.  This will power the camera on in shooting mode.
