Image Quality Setting
You can adjust the image quality according to the document to be copied.
- Press <COPY.
- Press <Menu> five times until <IMAGE QUALITY> appears.
- Press < (left) or > (right) arrow to select the image quality.
- [NORMAL]: Suitable for text-only documents.
- [FINE (PHOTO)]: Suitable for photographs.
- [FAST]: Suitable for high speed copying at a lower image quality.
NOTES:
a. When [GLOSSY], [H.RES], [PH PRO], [PH PLUS], or [OTHER] is selected as the paper type only [FINE (PHOTO)] can be selected.
b. [FAST] is only available when [PLAIN] is selected as the paper type.
- Press <OK>.
NOTES:
a. When using [FAST], if the quality is different from that expected, select [NORMAL] or [FINE(PHOTO)] and try copying again.
b. Select [FINE (PHOTO)] to copy in grayscale. Grayscale renders tones in a range of grays instead of black or white.
