In this mode, you set the desired shutter speed and the camera sets the aperture automatically to suit the subject brightness.
A fast shutter speed can freeze motion, and a slow shutter speed can blur it.

While pressing the <MODE> button, turn the < > dial until <Tv> appears on the LCD panel. Then release the <MODE> button.

Turn the < > dial to set the desired shutter speed.
Press the shutter button halfway and focus the subject.
- The shutter speed and aperture will be displayed.
Take the picture.
- As long as the aperture display is not blinking, a standard exposure will be obtained.
