How to reset the EOS 7D to the default settings.

Solution

The camera's shooting settings and menu settings can be reverted to the default.
1. Select [Clear all camera settings].
  • Under the [] tab, select [Clear all camera settings], then press <>.
2. Select [OK].
  • Turn the <> dial to select [OK], then press <>.
  • Setting [Clear all camera settings] will reset the camera to the following default settings:
Note:

This does not reset any Custom Functions. Custom Functions will need to be reset separately.
