The focusing point achieves focus over the part it covers. You can select the focusing point in one of two ways: Automatic selection or manual selection
- In Creative Zone modes, you can switch between automatic and manual focusing point selection
Automatic Focusing Point Selection
- The camera selects one of the seven focusing points automatically
Manual focusing Point Selection
- Select one of the seven focusing points manually

- When you try to select an AF point beyond a peripheral AF point automatic focusing selection will be set

Display the desired AF point in red
- See the diagram on the left on how the AF point selection changes with the
button
- When you press the
button to switch from automatic AF point selection, the selection will start with the cent AF point
