Printer Settings: Security Settings - TR7820

Description

This article provides information on security settings of the PIXMA TR7820 that can be adjusted from the operation panel.

Solution

Select this setting item from Printer settings in Setup icon (gear) (Setup).

 The administrator password may be required to change the settings.​

  • Use of Remote UI

    Set whether to lock use of the Remote UI.

  • Restrict destinations

    When set to Enable, scan destinations will be restricted.

     You can only send to registered destinations.

     You cannot edit registered information.

  • Password policy settings

    Sets restrictions on characters when setting / using passwords.
