BJC-1000 Series Nozzle Check

To perform a self-test with any of the BJC-1000 series printers, please follow the below instructions.

  1. Plug the printer in the wall outlet to ensure power is on.

  2. Load sheets of plain paper into the sheet feeder.

  3. Press the <RESUME> button on top of the printer twice, quickly.

  4. The printer should print a small grid (nozzle test) if it is operating correctly.

    A BC-05 ink cartridge should give colored results compared to using a BC-02 ink cartridge which gives all black printing.
