Using the Zoom

1. Press the or buttons to adjust zoom.

The zoom can be adjusted from 38-132 mm (focal length) in 35mm film equivalent terms.

Telephoto: Zooms in on the subject.

Wide: Zooms out from the subject.

Digital Zoom

When the LCD monitor is on, you can shoot with a combined optical and digital zoom factor of approximately 14x. This provides a combined Optical and Digital Zoom of approximately 38 - 528 mm (focal length) in 35mm film equivalent terms.

Please note that the image will appear with more grain as the digital zoom factor increases.
