Solution

Rotating Images in the Display - A610, A620, A630, and A640

Images can be rotated 90 degrees and 270 degrees clockwise on the LCD monitor.

1.  Turn on the camera, and set the mode switch to .


2.  Press the <MENU> button, arrow down to [ Rotate], and press .


3.  Use the or button to select an image to rotate and press to rotate it.

4.  Cycle through the 90o/270o/original orientations with each press of the <FUNC./SET> button.

  • This also can be set in the index playback mode.

5.  Press the <MENU> button. The Replay menu appears again.

Press the <MENU> button again to close the menu.


  • Movies cannot be rotated in the camera.  You can do this by using ZoomBrowser EX or ImageBrowser (software supplied with the camera).
  • When images are downloaded to a computer, the orientation of images rotated by the camera will depend upon the software used to download the images. The orientation should stay the same as the rotated image if downloaded using ZoomBrowser EX or ImageBrowser.
