Solution
Set Paper In The Auto Sheet Feeder
Instructions to load paper in the Auto Sheet Feeder (ASF).
Prepare the printer:
- Remove paper from the ASF.
- Open the paper support and extend the paper support extension. (See <1> in Figure 1 below.)
- Open the paper output tray. (See <2> in Figure 1 below.)
- Set the paper thickness lever according to the media being used. (See <3> in Figure 1 below.)
Note: For paper thickness lever settings, use the following setings for the media type being used: Right side: Envelopes / T-Shirt transfers. Left side: All other media types.

All media types other than Envelopes.
- Fan the paper and align the four corners.
* Figure 2
- Load paper in the ASF with the paper's print side facing up. (See <1> in Figure 3 below.)
- Align paper to the right edge of the ASF. (See <2> in Figure 3 below.)
- Pinch and slide the paper guide to the paper's left side. (See <3> in Figure 3 below.)

Loading Envelopes:
- Check the printing direction.
- Set the envelope in the direction of the arrow as indicated in Figure 4 below.

- Align paper to the right edge of the ASF.
- Pinch and slide the paper guide to the paper's left side.

Set paper with the flap closed.
