Uninstall foreign driver/Install English Driver
If the french or spanish driver has been installed by mistake, it must be uninstalled before the English version can be installed.
-
Select <Start>, [Programs (for Windows XP, [All Programs]), [Canon PC1200 iC D600 iR1200G], and then the third option in the list.
|
|
Choose [Canon PC 1200 iC D700] for the imageCLASS D700 series or choose [Canon iC D800] for the imageCLASS D800 series.. |
|
|
The third option will start with either "Desinstallation de Canon" (French) or "Desinstalacion de Canon" (Spanish). |
- After you select the third option, select [Aceptar (if the Spanish driver was installed)] or [OK (if the French driver was installed)].
- After that is done, before clicking on [OK to restart?], disconnect the USB or Parallel cable. Then click [OK] and after the computer has rebooted, follow the instructions for installing the driver.
- During the installation, when the list of drivers are displayed for the printer, make sure that the "English" driver is selected. Complete the driver installation as normal.
- One way to verify that the correct language driver was installed is to open the [Printers] folder and right-click on the printer, then click [Properties]. The last tab across of the printer driver should read "Paper Selection" in English.
