Adding a TCP/IP Port - Windows
The following example shows how to add a TCP/IP port to a printer's ports list.
- Open the printer's properties window.
For help, click here
- Select the Ports tab.
- Select Add Port...
- Select Standard TCP/IP Port and click New Port...
- Click Next >
- Enter the printer's IP address and Click Next >
Add Standard TCP/IP Printer Port Wizard will search for and detect the port.
- Click Finish
- Click Close
- Click Apply
- Click OK
