If images are cut off or cropped when you print them, follow the steps below to check or modify the settings.
Check the cropping settings
To check the settings:
- Press the MENU button on the image display screen.
- If the cropping settings are configured, a frame appears in the image display screen. Follow the steps in the section below to change the settings.
Change the cropping settings

Press the MENU button on the image display screen
- Press the up / down arrow buttons <> <> to select Reset Cropping, then press the OK button.
- When the message "Reset Crop settings?" appears, press OK.
- Cropping settings are reset.
The cropping area will also clear if you turn off SELPHY or remove the memory card before printing.|
If you set the range for zero copies, it will not clear the cropping settings.
Align the Aspect Ratio
If the aspect ratios of your image and the paper differ, the image will be clipped when you print.
Make sure to align the aspect ratios. For example, the image below is printed on postcard-sized paper at an aspect ratio of 1:1.
Print with the Bordered setting
When printing, the default style is Borderless.
You can change the default settings to print using borders.
- Press the HOME button on the printer panel.
- Press the up / down arrow <><> buttons to select Borders, then press the OK button.
- Press the up / down arrow <><> buttons to select Bordered, then press OK button.
- To print, select an image, set the number of copies, and press the PRINT button.
