Please call 1-800-OK-CANON to obtain a Service RMA before sending your camera in. You may also use the priority phone number and voice prompt that were supplied to you when you received your XL Owners Club member package. Once you are connected to an agent, provide the agent with your XL Owners Club member number and a description of the service you would like to have performed. The agent will then be able to provide you with a Service RMA number to include when sending your camera in. This number tells the Factory Service Center to "rush" the repair. Most XL Owners Club services are carried out within 3-5 business days from the time they are logged into the system (applies to warranty repairs or pre-approved repairs). Out of warranty repairs are typically handled within 3-5 business days after the estimate has been approved and paid for.
Requests for a loaner camera must be made with the Factory Service Center after they have received your camera. Loaners are subject to availability and require a security deposit.
