To identify the issue and take appropriate action, when an error occurs during printing (for example if the paper runs out or jams), the following occurs:

• A troubleshooting message appears automatically on your computer screen.

• An Error Code displays on your printer screen (LCD).

Idetify the Support Code

The error message appears on your computer screen and some errors include a Support Code (error number) for more information, as shown in the example below.
