The main screen of the MK Desktop Utility is organized as follows.
Menu bar
Information on the Menu bar can be found below.
Toolbar
Information on the Toolbar can be found below.
Format Setting Area
Displays the formatting information for the selected page.
Data List
Displays the list of data being edited.
Preview Area
Displays the image of the printed result.
Status Bar
Displays information about the current status.
Print Media Selection Area
Sets the type and size of the print media.
Functions not supported by this printer are displayed in light gray.
The menu bar displays the functions of the MK Desktop Utility. Click on a menu to display a drop-down list of submenus.

[File] menu
New
Creates a new data list.
Open
Open an existing file or CSV file to load data.
Add
Open another file and add it to the data currently being edited.
Save
Overwrite and save the data currently being edited.
Save As
Save the data currently being edited in a separate file which you will specify the name of.
Select printer
Select the printer to be used.
Print
Print the data currently being edited.
Exit
Exits the MK Desktop Utility.
[Edit] menu
Undo
Invalidates the previous operation.
Redo
Re-enables the operation that was invalidated by "Undo."
Cut
Cuts the specified content and pastes it to the clipboard.
Copy
Copies the specified content to the clipboard.
Paste
Pastes the contents of the clipboard.
Delete
Deletes the specified portion.
Numbering
Automatically create pages by assigning consecutive numbers or letters to a fixed string of characters.
Send page selection
Add or remove check marks from multiple pages at once.
Page Cut
Cut the specified page and paste it to the clipboard.
Page Copy
Copy the contents of the specified page to the clipboard.
Page Paste
Pastes the contents of the clipboard to the front of the specified page.
Page Insert
Inserts a blank page before the cursor page.
Page Delete
Deletes the cursor page.
Format Setting
[Page Setting]
Allows you to change the format setting of the cursor page.
[Default Setting]
Set the format to be used when creating a new data list or inserting a page.
[View] menu
Data Toolbar
Shows or hides the data toolbar.
Send Toolbar
Switches between showing and hiding the send toolbar.
Edit Toolbar
Switches between showing and hiding the edit toolbar.
Status Bar
Switches between showing and hiding the status bar.
Preview
Switches between showing and hiding the preview area.
[Help] menu
Help
Displays the help menu.
About
Displays the version information.
The toolbar displays frequently used menus as buttons.
