Using SpoolMaster

SpoolMaster is a background printing utility (also called a spooler) developed to work with the MultiPASS printer driver. When SpoolMaster is installed and activated, you can continue to use your computer while printing documents. If you have Background Printing enabled, SpoolMaster automatically launches when you print.

Activating SpoolMaster

1. Go to the Apple Menu and select 'Chooser'.

2. Select the MultiPASS C555 printer driver.

3. Turn Background Printing on using the radio button. If the Background Printing option is grayed-out, either SpoolMaster is
not installed, or it was not loaded during start-up. You may have to double-check your Extensions Manager and restart your computer.

4. Close the Chooser. Your MultiPASS printer driver can now use SpoolMaster' s background printing capabilities.

Accessing SpoolMaster

To access SpoolMaster while printing, select SpoolMaster from the Application menu in the top right-hand corner of the menu bar.

Cancelling a Print Job

1. In the SpoolMaster window, select the printing document.

2. Click 'Cancel Printing'.

To remove a document from the queue so it will not print:

1. In the SpoolMaster window, select the document in the Waiting area.

2. Click 'Remove From List'.
