Importing Gmail certificates
The latest Administration Tool must be installed on the PC controlling the SF400
In SF400 Administration mode login, check the list of the “Certificates”. If none is listed then go to a known Gmail account and login.
Windows
If using CHROME browser select the three dots symbol on the extreme right (customized and Control)
(if using IE select the LOCK symbol on the taskbar)
1.Select “More tools”
2.Select “Developer Tools”
3.In Security tab, expand “View certificate” (it may take few seconds for the list to show up)
4.In “Certificate” screen, view the list of all certificates available under “Certificate Path” tab.
5.Highlight the first listed certificate, select “Details” where the properties of that specific certificate will be shown.
6.Select “Copy to File… and export the certificate to a temporary folder. Select the default format
[DER encoded binary X.509 (.CER)]
Repeat the export steps for the remaining certificates being listed
OSX 10.14 Chrome
1. Click the icon to the left of the URL.
2. On the screen that pops up click view Certificate.
3. A box pops up showing information about the certificate. Drag the large certificate icon to a finder window. A .cer file will be created in the location you drag it to.

2. On the screen that pops up click Show Certificate.

OSX 10.14 FireFox
1. Click the icon to the left of the URL.
2. On the screen that pops up click view Connection.
3. Click on mail.google.com/
4. On the screen that opens select the Security Tab and then click on view Certificate.
5. Select the Details Tab and then click on Export.
Access the SF400
Remote in using HTTP://SF400 IP Address:50080
In “Administrator” settings select “Certificate” and then select “Edit” on the right side and “IMPORT” the certificates saved previously, one by one.
Log out of Administrator’s mode and log back in with a valid user account.

•Set Google account under “User settings”.
NOTE: If you have multiple users on the ScanFront 400, each of the users will need to have the same Gmail account information that you are entering here.
4. Allow SF-400 to access to Gmail
•Go to Google Account > Sign-in & security
•
Then, Enable “Allow less secure apps”. By doing this, SF-400 can send a data to your Gmail account.
Now you’re ready for scan to Gmail!
